Princess Po’s Weekly Adventures

A what a week we have had.  Such fun with all the family. I went to work for a couple of days and then I took Princess Po out and about around our area as I hadn’t done this for her.

It is so fun to go on a walk as I get to walk in two different states where I live. Such a long walk. Hee hee. You can see the picture of the family standing on the gray path. That is actually the border of the two states so half the family was in one state and half the family was in the other state. We had heaps of fun taking photos of this.

We then went into all the shops and looked for things to buy except nothing popped out at us. Certainly saved some money.

They were desperate to see the beach so we trotted across the road to the beach. Princess Po had seen the beach before a few weeks ago and knew what the sand felt like in her hooves so she raced down to the water with me running after her. Good think I didn’t have a video camera as it looked really funny with me chasing after the fillies.

After romping around in the water we went and sat on a bench where we rested for a while and watched the sunset. You can see in the photos how lovely it was. The sunsets and sunrises are so beautiful where we live.

We walked back home after this as we were all getting cold. Food shopping on the way home and man can they eat as the shopping bill was quite high. Oh well. I suppose we need to eat and boy do we eat well.

Time for all of us to say good night as it is now very late. Good night from myself, Princess Po and our family.

What a freaking journey! Crazy thing is that I will keep going

30 days ago, okay a few more than that, I started the “30 Day Blogging Challenge.” I actually enrolled in the middle of February and it took nearly a month before I started.

Well once I started, well about a week or so after, I became addicted to blogging and I love it now. I have even discovered a love of writing short stories and eventually I will have my own novel/s. You can find all my short stories here My Short Stories

Every day during the challenge an email is sent with instructions for that day. I haven’t done everything although I have done most as I discovered that I enjoyed having themed days which helped me to plan ahead for the days when I was extremely busy or tired. You can find the link to the challenge here 30 Day Blogging Challenge

I have even started blogging for my filly Princess Po which has been great as I have been getting out and about photographing away. What fun and giggles we have. You can find all the blogs here Princess Po

I first started my blog a year and a half ago but never did much with it as very occasionally I would blog something although I never put much effort into it. The change came when I blogged in December about my depression. It was so great to finally let everyone know what had happened to me as it was so hard keeping the secret. You can find that blog here My Heartbreaking Journey With Depression

After writing that blog I knew I want to blog much more often and it was soon after that that I found the challenge. I was excited and scared at the same time as it meant that people would be reading what I wrote. What a big deal that was. It took a while to start the challenge and when I did well it grew a life of its own and what fun.

Are you wanting to challenge yourself with your blogging? Then this is the blog for you. All I can say is go for it and stretch your comfort zone. You never know what you may find inside of you.

Princess Po’s Weekly Adventures.

After the dissapointment of last week when we found out that she couldn’t work in the hospital we decided that it was time for a bit of fun.

We went out and about and I discovered that there was more filly’s that needed to be adopted. Well, our family has certainly grown. I can not believe how many of us there is.

I am going to introduce you to Prince Gideon and yes they are now an item although they are taking it slowly considering Princess Po is still in a delicate place after being told she couldn’t work in the hospital.

I decided to take both of them to the beach and what fun we had, splashing around in the water. I certainly got a few strange looks but I was having so much fun that I barely noticed. I am having so much fun that my mood lifts right up each time I spend with my family.

There was a surf carnival on so I also got to have some fun watching the scenery. This is a picture of Princess Po and Prince Gideon getting ready for the day at the beach. Well time for me to go and have some more fun. Wishing you a wonderful day filled with love and laughter. By from the Filly family.

Princess Po’s weekly adventures

Last week I wrote about how Princess Po came to be in my life and you can find the story at this link How Princess Po came to be in my life. It is such a wonderful story.  This week Princess Po came to work with me as she had completed her annual checkup and passed with flying colours.

The little minx was so helpful and caring looking after the patients after they had come out of surgery. She comforted them, dried their eyes, helped me place their observations (pulse, blood pressure etc) into the computer we use, made beds and chatted to the other staff. The staff have gotten so used to her and look forward to when she comes into work with me.

She picked up the skills so quickly as a lovely nurse showed her how to make a bed and off she went and made the beds for the rest of the day. They were so neat and tidy that my boss asked me who did such a great job. Well, me proud as a punch, stated that it was Princess Po who was the amazing filly making the beds. My boss was slightly taken aback with that but then realised what an asset she is and has recommended that Princess Po go to University and become a Registered Nurse. Well blow me down. I was so delighted.

During our breaks Princess Po got to meet some of the other staff including the surgeons, anaesthetists (they put you to sleep), other nurses and operating assistants. They all fell in love with her and want her to come back to work for them. How delightful is that.

It was such a lovely time having Princess Po at work with me but then it came to an end unfortunately as we found out that she can’t work in the hospital as she is a Princess. We were so devistated with this news and decided we needed to go out and see our friends. That is a story for another week as I am still a bit upset that Princess Po can’t work anymore.

This is Princess Po at work with me. What a treasure.

Simple easy way to read oracle cards

Have you bought oracle cards and just dabbled in them for yourself? Would you like a simple way of reading them and then stepping up to the level of reading for others.  In this blog I will show you a simple step-by-step way of reading oracle cards.

Step by step instructions:

  1. Ignore what is written (the message) on the cards as you will be using your intuition.
  2. Pick a card and look at the image.
  3. What colours do you see? What do those colours mean for you?
  4. What symbols do you see? What do those symbols mean for you?
  5. What animals do you see?  Are the animals doing anything in particular? What do those animals mean for you?
  6. If there a human being? Are they male or female? Are they younger or older? Where are they looking? Are they sitting on anything such as a chair/horse/carriage etc? Are they holding anything? What are they wearing?  What emotion are they displaying on thier face? What does all of this mean for you?
  7. Are there numbers on the card? What do those numbers mean for you?
  8. What environment is on the card such as water, field, inside, outside etc? What does this mean to you?
  9. If there is water, is the water a river, sea, pond etc? Is it running? Are they under water, on top of the water, next to the water? Is there anything in the water? What does all this mean for you?
  10. If there is a field, what is in the field? How long is the grass? Are there animals? Is there equipment in the field? What does all this mean for you?
  11. Is it inside? What kind of building is it? What is in there? What does all this mean for you?

Practice this with every card in the deck and you will be able to tell a story about each card.

Other things when readings cards for other people:

  • Lots and lots of practice.
  • Read for family and friends as practice but make sure there is an exchange of money as this is telling the universe that you love reading the cards and love how you can show respect to your client by accepting the money. By refusing the money you are not allowing your client to have the experience of this.
  • Journal about each card as much as you can. You want the deck to become like your family and know them intamitely.
  • Become great at one spread before learning another. The simplest is a Past, Present, Future.
  • The biggest thing is to be like a child and have loads of fun.

Wishing you all the best with reading the oracle cards. I have placed one here as practice for you.
